Hi I'm Ellie, 18 year old crochet enthusiast!

Since age eight, the crochet hook has been my best friend, travelling everywhere with me and allowing my wildest imagination to become a cuddly reality. 

After learning how to crochet in Seoul, South Korea, I filled every possible surface in my room with stuffed animals. Every time I gifted one of them to my family or friends, I was rewarded with the brightest smiles I'd ever seen.

This ability to bring so much joy inspired me to expand beyond my family to start crocheting for hospice patients and Kenyan orphans during the pandemic. Today, through my volunteer work and my nonprofit, EmbraceCrochet, I crochet to embrace countless others around the globe with my furry friends.
